KARACHI: Pakistan’s 10 players are participating in Qatar Junior Open that is to be held in Doha from April 22-25.
According to the entry list, Saad Saeed and Abdul Moiz Khan will take part in under-19 category, Abdullah Zaman is featuring in under-15 category, and Mamoon Khan and Aziz Ali will participate in under-13 category. The players who will participate in the under-11 category are Mustafa Ahmad, Ahmed Ali, Hassan Zaman, Ayub Zaman, and Rayyan Zaman.
According to the draws, Saad got bye in the first round and will face Abdulrahman Al Maghrabi from Kuwait in the quarterfinals while Moiz is drawn against Jassim Al Ghareeb from Kuwait in the first round of the under-19 category.
In the first round of under-15 category, Abdullah will face Qatar’s K Al Malki and Aziz Ali is playing against Qatar’s Hammad Al-Khalaf while Mamoon got bye in the first round of under-13 category.
