Due to global climate change, the number of glaciers in Pakistan has been decreasing day by day which poses a major threat to Pakistan’s freshwater reservoirs. Moreover, there is widespread mismanagement and waste when it comes to our water resources. This mismanaged water causes havoc in all the provinces.
It is the need of the hour to improve our water-management system but the government is not taking the problem seriously. This is a matter of survival for Pakistan and demands proper action in order to mitigate water scarcity by using modern methods of technology and engineering.
