City receives scattered rain

LAHORE:The city witnessed scattered rain during wee hours on Tuesday. The rain has brought down a rising mercury a little. Met officials said continental air was prevailing over most parts of the country while a westerly wave was likely to enter western parts of the country on April 24 (evening/night). Tuesday’s highest maximum temperature was recorded at Shaheed Benazirabad where mercury reached 42°C while in Lahore it was 31.8°C and minimum was 19°C.
