The ongoing general election in India has not been accompanied by a suspension of cellular services. It is only our beloved country which does not miss seemingly any chance to suspend cellular services. This approach, besides causing major inconveniences, also creates fertile ground for rumours and conspiracies and can fuel instability. Almost no other democracy does this, especially during elections. The relevant authorities should reconsider their approach as such suspensions do not seem to be providing much benefit to the country.
