ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered medical check-up of Bushra Bibi besides presenting the test report till Monday on apprehension of wife of PTI founder that she was poisoned. The petition seeking court’s permission for medical check-up of Bushra Bibi in view of apprehension that she was poisoned came up for hearing before IHC on Wednesday.
Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb, while expressing resentment over non-implementation of court’s orders of previous hearing, remarked why our orders have not been implemented. “We had asked Advocate General (AG) to implement our previous order.” IHC summoned AG Islamabad forthwith, remarking the federal government be informed about non-assisting the court by AG. IHC also indicated to initiate contempt of court proceedings against AG.
State counsel Abdul Rehman, while regretting to court, informed that AG is not here today. IHC ordered medical check-up of Bushra Bibi be got conducted form Islamabad Diagnostic Centre (IDC) or Excel Lab and report thereof be presented to court till Monday. The court adjourned the hearing of the case.
