PESHAWAR: Expressing concern over lawlessness in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) provincial chief Prof Mohammad Ibrahim Khan on Wednesday said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was deprived of representation in the Senate due to antagonism between the stakeholders.
Addressing the inaugural session of the two-day meeting of the provincial shura of Jamaat-e-Islami started here, he said that the federal and provincial governments were also at the loggerhead resulting in the deprivation of the people of the province. “This attitude is not appropriate for both the PMLN-led federal and PTI-led provincial governments. The people have elected their rulers for resolution of the problems and now it is the responsibility of the governments to understand and resolve the problems faced by the people,” he added.
