Islamabad: Islamabad Police have announced that they will now be charging fees for the services they provide through the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police. The decision was notified by the Assistant Inspector General (AIG), General and Development, who has introduced charges for the various facilities that the police offer. These charges have been recommended by the Executive Board of the Islamabad Police.
According to the notification, the service charges for Police Character Certificate, Police General Verification, Foreigner’s Registration, and Motorcycle Verification will be Rs1,000 per service. Meanwhile, the service charges for Motor Car Verification (Forensic) will be Rs3,500, and the service fee for Motor Car Verification will be Rs1,500. The notification also directs the incharges and operators at different facilitation centres to collect the facilitation fees in accordance with the notified fees. The Islamabad police are committed to providing basic facilities to the residents of the city at their doorstep, said the Islamabad police spokesman.
