LAHORE:A meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) was held under the chairmanship of P&D Board Chairman Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan. The meeting approved six development schemes of various sectors at an estimated cost of Rs8.732 billion.
The approved schemes included Widening & improvement of Shahpur Bhera- Malikwal Road from Pull Wazidi to Shahpur, District Sargodha at the cost of Rs516.761 million; Rehabilitation of old GT Road in Okara City (Section from Bypass Sahiwal Side to Bypass Lahore Side), Tehsil Okara at the cost of Rs1.106 billion, Rehabilitation widening & improvement of Shahpur Bhera Malikwal Road in District Sargodha (Phase-I, Group-III, Pull Wazidi to Bhera, District Sargodha at the cost of Rs2.326 million; Rehabilitation of Depalpur Haveli Lakha Road via Bhuman Shah & Wasawala, Tehsil Depalpur, District Okara at the cost of Rs1.111 billion, Rehabilitation of Depalpur-Basirpur Road, Tehsil Depalpur, District Okara at the cost of Rs1.123 billion, and institutional strengthening of P&D Board and Capacity Building of Public Sector Employees (PRMPU component) at the cost of Rs2.548 billion.
