ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court Judge Nasir Javed Rana’s court postponed the hearing of the Nooriabad Power Plant corruption reference against Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah etc.
During the hearing, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and other accused appeared in the court. Lawyer Arshad Tabriz took the stand that the case could not proceed after the orders of the Supreme Court. The lawyer prayed the court to adjourn the case for a long period as his clients had to come from Karachi. Judge Nasir Javed Rana observed that it would wait for the final verdict of the top court and then adjourned the case till June 26.
